The Annual Show held on Sunday 16^th September was a wonderful success, with a record number of entries including a great wealth of talent in the Craft Class.  This section provided the winner of The Rowlett Cup for ‘Best in Show’ as chosen by the large number of people who came and enjoyed the buzz of the competition.  Sandra Hall’s beautiful embroidery picture was the runaway winner, with its ribbons and pearls and exquisite stitching.

The ‘Longest Runner Bean’ was just over 19” and all the exhibits were a joy to see when all together in one Hall.  We did not think we would get such a variety of lovely flowers and vegetables, with the mad weather we’ve been having. Well done to everyone who entered.  The prizes were presented by David Claydon, Chairman of the Parish Council and many thanks to him.
